Skepticism about Obama

Anne Applebaum (known best for one of Dr. Wend's favorite books, Gulag) routinely writes for Slate, and today she explains that Russian and Chinese media are propagating rumors that Obama's election is a sham and that he's being set up to fail. Pravda describes him as a "scapegoat" who will fall to Republican challengers in two years, and Chinese media is using censorhip to crush any hopes that Western democracy works.
